Bulk Billing Policy
- South Wangaratta Medical Centre is a bulk billing clinic. Patients who hold a valid Medicare card will be bulk-billed for eligible services. Fees may be applicable for some services such as procedures, diagnostic services and non-MBS services and for appointments for those without a valid Medicare card. Fees are payable at the time of consultation and can be paid by EFT or with a credit card (surcharges apply for credit card transactions).

- Please note that a Non-Attendance Fee of $30 is payable if a patient does not attend their appointment or if the appointment is cancelled with less than two hours notice.
- Travel & Flu vaccines will incur a private fee for the purchase of the vaccine as they are not covered by Medicare.
- Patients attending for Workcover or TAC must pay for their appointment immediately after their appointment and lodge the Workcover/TAC claim themselves.
- Patients without a Medicare card will need to pay the full private fees based on the length of the consultation.
- Your doctor will explain any additional costs to you and obtain your consent prior to any treatment received.
