Dr Upul Abeykoon has been graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2006 from Sri Lanka. He also holds postgraduate qualifications in child health and clinical nutrition. Dr. Abeykoon has over 17 years of hands-on experience across a range of medical fields, gained through working in public hospitals in both Sri Lanka and Australia.
He is known for his friendly nature and his commitment to continuity of care. He has a special interest in supporting patients with long-term health needs, including children, older adults, and those optimizing weight or chronic medical conditions.
Dr. Abeykoon is fluent in English, Sinhala, and Tamil, allowing him to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, staying active, and spending time with family.
